BingeNext's take

If you’re in the mood for a lighthearted mix of comedy, crime, and action, The Naked Gun from 2025 is a great pick. Liam Neeson leads the cast as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., a guy with a unique skill set who’s trying to save Police Squad from shutting down by solving a murder case. The film’s 85-minute runtime keeps things moving quickly, making it easy to watch in one go without feeling dragged out. With a cast that includes Pamela Anderson and Paul Walter Hauser, the humor feels fresh but still pays homage to classic slapstick style. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a bit of goofy fun with their crime stories, especially if you liked movies like Naked Gun 33⅓ or even the action-packed vibes of Die Hard. Watching it feels like a playful ride where the laughs come fast and the action keeps you hooked without taking itself too seriously.
