Who builds BingeNext
BingeNext is built and operated by Jordan Axelrod, its founder. It is an independent product, not part of a streaming service, and it is not affiliated with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max or any other platform it recommends titles from. Our story
BingeNext was born out of endless scrolling frustration and the shared agony of couples struggling to agree on something to watch. It started one evening when Jordan Axelrod and his wife were ready to relax after a long day, only to lose hours to the "scrolling abyss," clicking through dozens of shows across multiple streaming services without finding anything they both liked.
Realizing that finding a great show shouldn't feel like a chore, he built a smarter way: a tool that breaks down the barriers between streaming platforms and delivers personalized recommendations in seconds rather than hours.
Our approach
Shared viewing is hard when two people have very different tastes, so couple mode does not simply recommend from one person's preferences. Each candidate is evaluated against both viewers, so couples get picks that genuinely work for both of them. The same engine also runs the TV, movie and mood modes.
The product
BingeNext runs on the web at bingenext.com and as an iPhone app on the App Store, which shares the same recommendation engine and the same account. BingeNext is free to use. Without an account you get 1 recommendation per day; with a free account you get 3 per day plus 3 couple recommendations per month. All four recommendation modes, including the Mood Engine, are open to free users. Premium is optional, and the features page is the full inventory of what the product does.
