BingeNext's take

If you’re into crime dramas that really pull you into a small community’s struggles, Broadchurch is a great pick. The show centers on the murder of a young boy in a quiet coastal town, and the way the media frenzy shakes up everyone’s lives feels very real and intense. David Tennant and Olivia Colman lead the cast with performances that make you care deeply about the characters and their secrets. With three seasons and 24 episodes, it’s long enough to get invested but not overwhelming. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a slow-burn mystery with emotional depth and a strong sense of place. Watching it feels like being part of a tight-knit town where everyone has something to hide, and you’re piecing it all together alongside the detectives. If you like shows like Midsomer Murders or Shetland, this one will definitely keep you hooked.
