Synopsis

A portrait into the mind of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, porn-watching, grief-riddled woman, trying to make sense of the world. As she hurls herself headlong at modern living, Fleabag is thrown roughly up against the walls of contemporary London, with all its frenetic energy, late nights, and bright lights.

BingeNext's take

If you’re into sharp, witty shows that mix humor with some real emotional depth, Fleabag is a must-watch. It’s about a woman navigating life in London with a mix of dry wit, anger, and grief, all while dealing with the chaos of modern living. Phoebe Waller-Bridge leads the cast with a performance that feels raw and honest, making you laugh and sometimes wince at the same time. The show’s two seasons and twelve episodes don’t overstay their welcome, and the quick pace matches the frenetic energy of the city it’s set in. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys comedy that’s a bit dark but also incredibly relatable, especially if you like characters who are flawed but deeply human. Watching Fleabag feels like having a brutally honest conversation with a friend who’s not afraid to say what everyone’s thinking.
